Bowie-knife is the largest knife in CS:GO, but it still only has 21 different variations of fade. They all lay within 100% and 80%. The main ones are 80%, 85%, 90%, 95%, and 100%.
The worst is 80%, which has a huge part of the knife uncolored. The best is the usual 100%, or Full Fade as it’s called.
In the case of Bowie-knife, it’s pretty easy to spot the difference between a Full Fade and a Fake Full Fade. This is because the knife is so large that it actually is some noticeable difference between 99% and 100%.
Bowie-Knife Fade
History
Bowie-Knife Fade was added to the game on the 17 of February 2016 alongside the “Wildfire” operation update.
It can only be opened in one case, which is the Operation Wildfire Case.
The Bowie-Knife is considered a second generation knife and is thus medium tier in terms of collector value.
Pattern Details
The Knives blade is chromed and coated with transparent paint. This allows the colors to interact with the lights and creates a nice gradient.
The pattern has three main colors of purple, pink and yellow, with some unpainted parts on some patterns which appear grey.
This all appears in different degrees depending on what pattern index the knife has. The more of the blade is faded, the more it’s worth.
The guard and the bottom of the knife are also faded and have a red/pink color. The handle of the knife always remains uncolored.
Floats impact
The float values on Bowie-Knife Fade go between 0.00 to 0.08. This makes it only available in factory new or minimal wear
On higher floats, scratches appear along the cutting edge of the knife.
These are relatively small and hard to notice, so having a bad float Bowie, is not terrible.
