Gut-knife Fade Guide
Gut-knife Fade has 21 different levels of fade. These all lay in between 80% (the worst) and 100 (the best).
There are five main ones. 80%, 85%, 90%, 95%, and 100%. These percentages stand for how much of the knife is covered in Fade.
100% is also called Full Fade, while 98% and 99% are called Fake Full Fade. It is called that because it is very similar to Full Fade but slightly less Faded.
See the Pictures below for illustration.

Gut-Knife Fade
History
The Gut-Knife Fade was added to the game on the 14 of August 2014 alongside the “The Arms Deal” update, or the skin update as it’s called.
These cases are Operation Bravo Case, CS:GO Weapon Case, Revolver Case, Operation Vanguard Case, Weapon Case, Operation Phoenix Weapon Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 2, eSports 2013 Winter Case, eSports 2014 Summer Case, Winter Offensive Weapon Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 3 and, eSports 2013 Case.
The Gut-knife is considered a low-tier original knife and thus often more somewhat desirable for collectors.
Pattern Details
The Knives blade is chromed and coated with transparent paint, this allows the colors to interact with the lights and creates a nice gradient.
The pattern has three main colors of purple, pink and yellow with some unpainted parts on some patterns which appear grey.
This all appears in different degrees depending on what pattern index the knife has, the more of the blade is faded the more its worth.
The handle is uncolored except along the middle of it which are yellow on high fades and grey on low fades.
Floats impact
The float values on Gut-Knife Fade go between 0.00 to 0.08. This makes it only available in factory new or minimal wear
On higher floats scratches appear on the back of the knife as well as the point. They also appear under the start of the handle.
Try to get as good float as possible on the knife, it really makes a difference.
